Driveability! The Sprinter is fun and easy to drive whether you're accustomed to an SUV or full size sedan. Because of its European roots, it is extremely maneuverable on the narrowest of streets and ultra-comfortable going across country.

Best-In-Class Commercial Roots: Mercedes Benz sets out to achieve best-in-class status with all of its vehicles. The Sprinter was originally designed to to address a full variety of demanding commercial needs. It's only been fairly recently that these same innovative design elements have made it a run-away favorite for a a growing number of personal and recreation uses.

For the Sprinter, Mercedes designed a tough and durable truck that performs as well on tight city streets as it does on steep and winding unpaved rural roads.

Driveability Enhancements In addition to an ingenious vehicle suspension system, driveability is also enhanced by standard Load-Adaptive Electronic Stability Control, Electronic Traction Control, and Crosswind Assist. All together, you'll find the Sprinter a pure joy to drive on any road surface, in all weather conditions, and across any distance.

The following are some key Sprinter design and safety features

Very low floor height and high ceiling
Unlike most trucks, getting into and out of the Sprinter is effortless for kids and the elderly. The unusually low floor height also makes loading and unloading a breeze. Once inside, a ceiling height of more than six feet means that few people have to stoop when moving around the spacious interior.

Straight Walls Add to Spacious Feel
While some call the Sprinter slightly boxy looking, Germans engineering often prioritizes function over form in the most critical areas. While curved walls look somewhat better, they cause problems at the floor and ceilings of vans.

Even modest body curves cause every addition on the inside to be pushed toward the middle and in all the wrong places. Lower storage comprises walking room and higher storage reduces headroom. With straight walls, cabinets, storage, and electronics lay flush along the wall.
